The 1st Tier Viewer is responsible to either hold or release the person being screened based on his or her assessment of the x-ray image. The Viewer does not have the ability to determine the identity of the person being screened.
The Viewer has several controls that allow him or her to manipulate the displayed x-ray image to suit his or her individual viewing style.
